Situation
  • Leading provider of financial services and direct marketing programs on behalf of retailers (for retailers' customers) was looking for a way to dramatically strengthen its core product offering for one of its key customers

  • Conducted ideation, concept development, qualitative research, and quantitative research to identify specific new product enhancements for client to launch on retailers' behalf
  • Established a disciplined and efficient development process that involved both client and retailer, achieving "buy-in" along the way

Results
  • Several promising new product concepts were developed, many of them testing dramatically better than the current offering; they are now in test market
  • Helped improve client's relationship with retailer client due to credibility conveyed through the development process
